Thank you for all of your support to date, unfortunately our proposals and the benefits proposed including the delivery of a direct north / south link and on-site affordable housing were not supported by Councillors at planning committee. The following pages present our latest proposals for the above site, which identify the significant changes made to design and layout further to comments received at the February 2019, May 2019, October 2019 and February 2020 events and through dialogue with local residents and groups.

Berkeley Homes are pleased to confirm that after lengthy discussions with Reading Borough Council and key stakeholders, the planning application for the redevelopment of the Old Power Station at Vastern is due to be heard by Reading Borough Council planning committee shortly.
